Hurray! Signs up “Super Girl”
finalist and enters digital music production and distribution
BEIJING, Oct.26 -- /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Hurray! Holding Co.,
Ltd. (Nasdaq: HRAY), a provider of advanced wireless value-added
services and mobile telecommunication network software in China,
announced that it has, together with Huayi Brothers Music Co., signed
a multi-year contract with Liangying Zhang, an upcoming singer and
pop star in China, to produce her first and future albums.
Zhang is the third place titlist in recent popular “Super Girl”
national TV contest, which drew hundreds of thousands of contestants
through dozens of rounds of regional preliminaries. The top three
finalists were determined by number of SMS votes from TV audiences
nationwide. Huayi Brothers is a leading movie and music producer
in China and Huayi Brothers Music is its subsidiary that focuses
on artist development, music creation and production, and record
distribution in China.
