Chat with Celebrities via Mobile Phone

Hawa.cn launches Star Interviews

Beijing, October 18th, 2004 - Hawa.cn recently announced the official launch of its newest, real-time, online service–"Star Interviews"--where mobile phone users can chat with or interview their favorite stars from their mobile phones at any time, from any place.

Like traditional interview programs, the majority of guests invited to the online interviews on Hawa.cn are well-known celebrities, with entertainment stars making up the vast majority of the participants. According to sources, the first guest to appear online in October will be Ms. Liu Ruoying, a famous Taiwanese singer. Jolin Tsai, another well-known Taiwan pop star, will also be featured on the program. Ms. Tsai was recently crowned brand ambassador of Hawa.cn.

The biggest difference between mobile online interviews and traditional interview programs lies in the unmatched convenience and interactivity offered by mobile online interviews. While Web-based online interviews can offer similar interactivity, the limitations of hardware and networks make it impossible to deliver truly seamless communication at any time and from any place.

According to Hawa.cn, as long as users have access to the Internet, they can easily take part in the new online interview service over a mobile phone Internet platform. Users will be able to ask questions and chat online with idols such as Liu Ruoying and Jolin Tsai. The most exciting aspect of the service is that users will be able to take part in the interview programs by simply pressing a button on their mobile phones, no matter where they are.

The release of "Star Interview" is a new breakthrough following the introduction of services like mobile phone radio, JAVA games and MMS. All of these services support the mobile entertainment concept that Hawa.cn has long been dedicated to advancing.

To promote this new form of entertainment, Hawa.cn made a significant investment to hire the hottest singing sensation of the new-generation, Jolin Tsai. She will represent Hawa.cn as its brand ambassador, an unprecedented marketing concept in the value-added services market.

Mr. Qindai Wang, CEO of Hurray!, said, "Star Interviews is a large-scale, mobile phone entertainment program that Hurray! made a large investment in to bring it to life. It offers interactivity, wide user coverage, and customization capabilities.
