WAP

WAP, or Wireless Application Protocol, is a 2.5G software protocol for wireless Internet access that will work on all digital cellular networks. It is a menu driven method that is intended to simplify wireless access to email and enable mobile device users to view web pages easily, much like you would access Internet applications on a personal computer through a web browser like Netscape or Explorer.
